Bob Ziek and his wife Marcy were good friends with Ron even before Ron and Chris were married and had a close friendship with both of them and their family. Because of this long friendship, Bob is honored to serve on the SandAngel Foundation board to help sustain Chris’s legacy of service.
Bob is currently President of ZSOURCE, a consulting company. Most recently in this role, Bob served as Acting Vice President, R&D/Regulatory for Nehemiah Manufacturing. He also is an Ascent Member of the Queen City Angels, which invests in start-up businesses in Cincinnati and is a board member for several smaller companies and is very active in the Cincinnati entrepreneurial ecosystem. Before ZSOURCE, Bob co-founded Changing Paradigms LLC, serving as its Senior Vice President for Operations and Development. Prior to Changing Paradigms, Bob served as Director of Product/Process Development at Drackett Company, a Division of Bristol Myers Squibb and started his career at Procter & Gamble in 1978 as a process and product development engineer.
Bob and Marcy, who both have chemical engineering degrees, have a passion for STEM and higher education and volunteer at their respective universities, Clarkson and Purdue. At Clarkson, Bob currently serves as the External Affairs Committee Chair of the Clarkson University Board of Trustees and serve or has served on the Executive, Compensation, Governance, Finance, and Internal Affairs Committee. He also serves on several other university leadership leadership councils. Bob also served in significant leadership positions on the Temple Sholom board and now is also volunteering as a mentor and coach for the Flywheel Social Enterprise Hub in Cincinnati. In addition to volunteering, Bob and Marcy also enjoy travel, music, and the outdoors.
